“Product Management” is one of the few roles that has emerged and is quickly rising in prominence.

The pandemic in 2020 drove businesses worldwide to speed tech adoption by 5 years while hiring trends in India intensified rather than decreased. The demands of PMs in India rose in every sector from automobiles to agriculture. One of the most sought-after industries of the decade will probably provide PMs with 22 million more job opportunities, claims a study.

The figures mention “n/22” million obligations, but is India ready to handle them?? Despite the enormous demand, there is a wider skill gap. Only about 15% of MBA grads are qualified for the position.
The Government of India’s initiatives has increased the number of digital start-ups in the nation, and as a result, demand for data-driven PM jobs has grown over time. Therefore, everyone who wants to become a future PM must learn research methodology, data analytics, user psychology, and mostly the relevant technology to the industry.

Making the best use of the growing demands and job responsibilities in the field of project management will also assist close the skill gap.
